Scenic Technology Lab Overhaul
The Scenic Technology Lab was in need of a major overhaul. It was being asked to serve as both a professional scene shop and a classroom space, and had never been designed as a space for students to learn and work.
I set about making a number of improvements to upgrade the space to allow for easier access for new students to quickly integrate themselves into the workflow of the space.
The shop space is behind the stage, and serves as a pathway from one side of the building to the other. I established red pathways to guide visitors through the shop and keep them out of the contruction area. Tools were moved to a central location where they can be locked when not in use.
