Role: Technical Director
E2 featured a number of technical elements that demanded extensive sampling and flawless execution. The high-gloss, mirror-finish black floor took many experiments and consultations with paint suppliers, scenic artists, and others to find an affordable and durable solution. The video wall in the background was a collaborative effort between myself, the design team, our facilities department and a structural engineer to bring an outsized idea from first impulse to final success.

The columns are steel frames with MDF slats attached.
All the slats were painted before installation with SeaGuard 1000 enamel paint. It has a rich, deep black color and a high gloss finish.
