As the ATD, I took on the drafting responsibilities for the show. A particular challenge was the brick work, which had to have precisely mitred corners. Utilizing pre-made sheets also constrained the wall dimensions so that the brick pattern would translate properly around corners and on intersections, and so the drafting became critical to a successful installation of the project.
Paperwork

While the set was rotated to a 5 degree angle, I kept a version locked at 90 degrees to test fit all wall and platform pieces in CAD.

Drafting for sheet layout on window wall unit. The layout indicates the rows of header bricks, location of soldiers, and notates the addition of other brick sheets for a "bricked over" portion of the windows.

The show deck was a combination of stock triscuit, stock 4x8, and custom framed platforms. I designed a studwall system to interlock with an existing stock system and support all the platforms at their necessary heights.

Construction

This picture was actually taken at strike, but it shows the uncovered steel frame portion below the brick. This was covered by the show deck.

The walls were rigged at the top for stability and to assist at load-in. Each wall bolted to its neighbors, and were well braced by themselves once fully loaded in. Additional platforms and walls inside the unit provided extra support.

The fence was constructed from reclaimed rough sawn lumber, for that authentic, splintery feel.
